The team and I headed across to the next property after a very successful trapline. We had limited time left until we needed to be back down south, so we would need to evaluate each patch of sign we found and set accordingly. We would need different sets for each situation. Think hard, set well and watch the results.
Time to pull all the "Bling", the chains and the metal, out of the ground, clean it up and get ready for the next project. Was there time for one more dog?
Skunk seemed to be very confident, while Brandon, Dash, Rob and Chancy just enjoyed the ride.
With an awesome chital stag in the bag for Gareth, it was time to hunt for another big old-timer for his dad Shane. We wanted something that also had that "Wow" factor.
It was our second last day of the trapline and tracks were getting scarce. Time to check, recheck, make some last minute changes and see if we can finish with one or two more dogs.
On most traplines, you will have dogs that roam widely and others which remain in a defined area. At one dam on this huge property, there were tracks of a few "resident" dogs who had survived local trapping and night vision attempts in the past. So the challenge was accepted.
Since I had this 6mm BR custom rifle built up on my Tikka T3 action, IBI CF barrel and Hi-Tec carbon fiber stock you guys have been chasing me to make a video on it. Well here it is with all the details, spec's and pricing of process.
I talk through why I went the routes I did on components, cartridge choice and all the finer details. This type of rifle build video might not be for everyone but I'm very interested in what you guys think. It's a first for me making a specific rifle video so lets see how it goes.
I have a strong expectation this video will be demonetised and restricted to over eighteen but we shall see. This platform has a track record for not promoting content like this as it's not inline with all the policies.

NT BOARS & RIFLE SIGHTING
In this series we join Jake Plumb and his family on hunting and fishing adventures throughout the southern Tablelands in new south wales. Jake filmed and edited these videos when he was only 15 years old. We think he's done an amazing job and will only get better as time goes on. In this first episode we join Jake and the team as they hit the mountain country chasing boars with their dogs and shooting a few as well. It's important for us to note that the boys don't often run protection on their dogs in this country as they find it can actually do more harm then good. The vests can get caught up in the blackberry bushes and increase the risk of the dog over heating. The pigs they catch most of the time don't have much tusks either so as a result they choose not use plates as often. So keeping that in mind lets get in on the action.
We are working diligently towards the completion of this feature, we will keep you updated on its progress and share more details in the coming weeks. We appreciate your support and look forward to unveiling this exciting addition to our platform soon.
