The biggest issue for me on this trapline were the cattle. The quality of the cattle husbandry on this property was so high that the stock went out of their way to be friendly, often too friendly for keeping traps in the ground. This is when you catch dogs with your brains not your brawn.

By now, many people are wondering why the Glenfiddich hut needed to come down. If you understand the old term, "stand to your digs" as I do, it means to "hold to one's principles" and thats what we did. Thank you one and all for the kind words and support after last weeks clip on our grand old Glenfiddich Hut and its untimely fate. I thought now, it best to give you a glimpse of why so many loved this mountain cabin like we did. We tasted freedom and showed others what it tasted like too. It can and must happen again.

As I was camping out at one of the cattle yards, I hadn't heard the news. Half the crew on this big property had tested positive and had the same symptoms I had. Just keep trapping a voice in my head told me.
