Coming up in part 1 of round 2 of the championships, we join Harley Sampson from team True Blue down in new south wales, as he hits the hills to take out a few lamb killers; then up in Queensland Team newline hit their grain feeders catching some good boars.

All while, up in the Gulf of Carpentaria, Collar the dogs sees if he can measure in a good set of hooks, as he prepares for when the Americans come over.

Then Andrew and molly hit the Leucaena country in central Queensland, catching a whopper of a Boar for the championships. Meanwhile back down in New South Wales Adam Button struggles in the drought-ravaged western region, while Dan and Mel walk the creeks and gulleys in the northern tablelands catching a few good hogs.

Lastly, Matt Devro kicks off the northern territory scoreboard with some thumpers that will make Hit and split work hard.

Today we jump straight in on a hunt with the boys as they walk into the bail on what the team hopes is a good boar. The stumpy's did well pulling him up in the thick stuff, so now it's up to Harley to get in there and dispatch him with the rifle.

The rounds far from over yet, there's still plenty of competition coming up. In part two, we will join Boar Fever and Hit and split on one last hunt as they try to get a few more entries under their belt, then a new competitor Peter Robinson, has a crack at taking on the Northern Territory boys.

We join Reevesy, Yeah The Boars, and Andrew and Molly as they hunt hard looking for comp contenders, then Johnny Wilson from Collar the Dogs hits the stubble country in Central Queensland.

Down in new south wales, Harley Sampson from team true blue is putting his walking shoes on, and hitting the thick hills, while Adam Button is heading out for a weekend of hunting the drought-ravaged western region. As you can see, things are only just warming up; you definitely don't want to miss out on part two.

This episode the boys hit the flood plains pulling up on some cracker boars out in the open, then they head into the paper barks getting themselves into some sticky situations. After that they head out for a night run and the dogs pull off some wicked finds. So strap yourself in for some intense boar hunting action.

Welcome to round one of the next level of the Grunter Hunter Championships. Our state based scoring system is now in full force with hunters competing on a state level in a more balance and fair manner. They receive points for the biggest boar, Barra and sow, as well as the longest tusks. Points are given to first, second and third places in each category and the hunters that procure the most points over the season, become the champion of their state.

Today Harley is taking his young dogs for a walk on a local block hoping to help improve their ground scenting abilities, and with any luck pull up a good nasty boar or two. They will make their way through the hills, along gulleys and creeks doing the hard yards on foot. You will get to see Harley study sign and use it to his advantage to help him make decisions on where to head next. It doesn't matter how good your dogs are, you as the leader of the pack need to help point them in the right direction, you will also learn more about the behaviors of wild boar and the real reason they mark trees. There is plenty of excitement coming up so stay tuned.
