Great night out shooting foxes with my custom 6mmBR rifle and thermal gear - Thermion 2 XP50 scope and a InfiRay E6+V2.0 thermal scanner. My version of rehoming foxes for pest control is shooting. If you don't approve of that..... Well this is not for you !!!
I haven't been out on these local lucerne flats for a few months, as usual the foxes were about on the prowl. I managed to "rehome" 8 of the red dawgs in 3hrs on foot walking around this 300 acre farm. Happy property owner as usual.
Amazing thermal conditions - Nice dry, low humidity clear air. It was 0°C when I drove out the gate for home at 11pm.

Three good buddies from the Central West Branch of ADA decided to go on a Northern chital deer hunt. Clem had hunted with Clark the year before taking a great stag but was on a mission to find one just a size bigger. It was early in the season so would the stags be still soft or were they in Hard Velvet?

All hunts can be fun and a challenge just as all stags can be trophies. Chloe and Jesse, hunting with ethics, respect for the animals and their own unique flair, made this a hunt to remember.
The first 50 or more traps are in, the first dogs had been caught, then Clark and his team encountered an old scarred mountain warrior.
It has been tough going for Clark and his team of Border Collies with only one wild dog per day caught. Patience and persistence will pay off.
Wild pigs were digging out the traps, so time for Robby and Skunk to do some work. Clark was keen to see the twelfth dog fall.
Clark and his team of crazy Border Collies were expecting more feral dogs by now. Patience was starting to wear thin so it was time to hold the faith.
The trapping had been hard going but there is always Judgement Day. Night 12 was when all the hard work paid off.

It was May 2018 and with the help of my lovely young niece Jessie, we were setting up for another central Queensland wild dog trapping program. Join us as we bring you our second trapping series.
Sometimes your efforts all come to fruition in a short space of time. The dog sign was strong and we set our trapline accordingly ... and it worked.
When life makes my head spin, I go for a walk in the bush with my dogs, listen, breathe, settle my spirit and count my blessings. We are all in the circle of life and there is no jumping off this train. As we see fazes of our life pass, we see their reflection in our children, Grandkids and even our four legged mates.
We had been highly successful with our wild dog trapping program but our trail camera photos showed the two dogs which were scratching traps and dodging our best efforts. Could we crack these hard cases in our last day?
We are working diligently towards the completion of this feature, we will keep you updated on its progress and share more details in the coming weeks. We appreciate your support and look forward to unveiling this exciting addition to our platform soon.
