Plenty of feral cats and foxes fall in this little episode, join me on a nights work shooting invasive predator species in Australia. For a twist I'll show you how I'm utilising an Ebike from EORB Australia to move around with stealth and take care of business.

Critters on the deck and not killing native animals and damaging agriculture is the aim of the game. These uncontrolled animals are an environmental and agricultural menace in Australia and are mostly classed as invasive pest species. No, we don't eat feral cats and foxes, they are disposed of in a pit and buried.

I am a vertebrate pest control - contract shooter in NSW. For those wondering about the suppressor use, I hold the necessary permit in NSW to do so. If seeking information regarding that, please check the FAR webpage for details. All shooting is performed on privately owned farms, with exclusive permission granted in writing for paid services.

I'm shooting my custom Tikka T3 rifle chambered in 6mm BR with a 18" Carbon Six barrel and Hi Tec Industries stock. The suppressor from Shawmac Industries which works amazingly well on this cartridge shooting subsonic Speer 75gr Varmint Hollow Points. Or regular ammunition shooting Nosler 80gr Ballistic Tips at just over 3100fps (all reloads). Thermal scope is the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XG50. For scanner duties I'm running my Pulsar Merger LRF XP50 thermal binoculars.

We hear and read the comments, - "we are doing landholders a service", "hunters would never sue a landholder", "the risk is so small", and even more crazy, "those deer belong to us, the people". The truth is, if landholders feel exposed legally, they will simply deny access and the choppers or professional pest controllers will come in. Hunting, true hunting, in its pure form, must be allowed to survive. How do we achieve this in Queensland?

This clip shows the exhilaration of being in the bush with stags roaring all around, the respect and sadness when a mighty stag is taken but also, the reality of knowing that you are on someone else's land, someones private property. The harsh reality that many do not wish to face, is that if deer have no value to landholders, eventually they will be gone. Your choice people, embrace a fair Sustainable Use system or reject it and risk it all.

It's high time for the discussion to be held. This great country will either go ahead and become stronger with a united people or we will tear it all apart with division. Here is an account of one of the so many events that shaped our family and our stance on the issue of the "Voice".

So many hunters openly hate anyone who puts an economic price on hunting or on wildlife. Personally, as a commercial operator (Deer guide, farmer and trapper) I've copped this all my life so it's nothing new. The reality that many will not face is that once a game animal becomes valuable to the landholders, it is protected and managed. Strip its value and treat it as a Pest and there is only one way this can go. Down the drain.

Stormy days are some of the best days in the bush. It can make the trapping hard but the animals all come out after the rain. Get out into the dirt and the mud and enjoy.
