We live in a rapidly changing world. If cultural pursuits like hunting and fishing are to remain as part of our lives, we must all be more responsible. If introduced species like wild deer are to be regarded any better than other “pests”, then they need very careful management. To do this we need to know exactly where we as Queenslanders stand in regard to legislation.

Clark travels back this year to a Samba hunting ground in Victoria Australia. This area is open for State Forest Hunting but unfortunately noting has changed with the way people disrespect the environment.

Poaching is becoming more of a problem for landholders, hunters and anyone wanting to enjoy the great out doors. Not only is it illegal and gives a bad reputation to hunters but it's a DEADLY game where someone unsuspecting could be injured or worse because of these knuckle heads who want to seek around the bush, trespass and use firearms illegally.

Three good buddies from the Central West Branch of ADA decided to go on a Northern chital deer hunt. Clem had hunted with Clark the year before taking a great stag but was on a mission to find one just a size bigger. It was early in the season so would the stags be still soft or were they in Hard Velvet?
